What A PEO Consultants Does
PEO Consultants is an independent PEO broker that compares 10 to 20 PEOs for your business, puts their quotes side by side, and helps you choose and negotiate, at no cost to you. The PEO you select pays us, so you pay nothing for the comparison or the advice.
Our process, step by step
Working with PEO Consultants takes eight steps, from a first call through your first renewal.
- Discovery call. We learn your headcount, states, industry, and what your current payroll, HR, and benefits setup is missing.
- Gather your data. You share an employee census, workers’ comp class codes, and your current PEO invoice or renewal notice if you have one.
- Shop the market. We request quotes from 10 to 20 PEOs that fit your size, industry, and states.
- Compare side by side. We put administrative fees, benefits, workers’ comp, payroll taxes, and implementation and termination terms on the same basis, so you see the true annual cost.
- Review the agreement. We check contract length, renewal increases, termination provisions, and liability terms before you sign.
- Choose and negotiate. You pick the PEO that fits, and we negotiate the final terms.
- Implementation support. We help move payroll, benefits, and employee data to your new PEO and stay involved through the transition.
- Renewal support. Before each renewal, we benchmark your PEO’s increase against the market and help you push back or switch if it isn’t competitive.
How we get paid
Our service is free to you because the PEO you select pays us. You never receive an invoice from PEO Consultants for the comparison, the quote analysis, or the advice. We can only help your bottom line, not hurt it.
What you get
Every engagement includes a side-by-side quote comparison, a contract review, and help negotiating the final terms
Frequently asked questions

How many PEOs do you compare? We compare 10 to 20 PEOs that fit your headcount, industry, and states.
Are you independent, or tied to one PEO? We are not owned by or tied to a single PEO. We quote several and show you the results side by side.
